Can anyone please give me any ideas on if this one is authentic? I know they make fakes of these, and I blatantly don't know how to tell the two apart so any feedback would be greatly appreciated. If I were to offer to trade for German items, or list it here in the for sale section, would right around $350 be reasonable considering it doesn't have a scabbard/sheath? Without a scabbard, I don't believe it would sell very quickly at $350. If it were priced at $275 it would sell faster. As for my opinion of value for trade, about $300 would be it. Just my opinion. As it appears the handle is loose and the weld/peen on the handle's base appears cracked, there are plenty of these knives available without those issues for around $350.00.
