jmar Posted November 20, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 20, 2014 Hi gang! This is still one of my favorite areas on the forum. Besides the historical significance of what is posted here there is the wonder of how on earth did a person work on such a small item and make it look so beautiful. Here is a lovely little lapel device for a Sharpshooter Badge, well crafted and quite small (the scale is is cm). I was so impressed by the quality of construction I just had to post it. Thank you for your time in stopping by and reading my thread. Best wishes to all! Joe

Brig Posted November 20, 2014 Share #3 Posted November 20, 2014 Great pin. I have 4 or 5 marksmanship lapel badges, sharpshooter and expert, rifle and pistol...one set of pistols even has white painted grips! They put a lot of time into the detail of these, and I have seen them on the sweetheart chains, as well
tarbridge Posted November 20, 2014 Share #4 Posted November 20, 2014 Neat little badge Joe...Thanks for the post.
Brig Posted November 20, 2014 Share #5 Posted November 20, 2014 BTW...the sweetheart pins I've seen had WWI timeframe sweetheart pieces on the other end, so I do believe a lot of these are WWI and maybe even earlier
