Thanks so much for the comments and opinions . I have another one but I've never seen this tacking - German made. Is it metal or silver?

Thank you

Lubos

Lubos,

You have to keep in mind that because the War ended in 1945 the style of badges would not change.A company would not change a style of manufacture or certain hallmarks for that fact.Medic badges, wings, insigina, cib's,etc. could have been made in the same style and hallmarks years after the War's end. So,at times its hard to say 1943 or 1948 as the year manufactured. Your Poellach German made badge is a case you can say post war made.

Hi Robert,

thank you for your advice. I thought that it is post war but it had broach that I´ve never seen before so I took it. Don´t you know how common are these badges? Is this one more attractive to collectors than the two WWII which I posted on the beginning of the topic? Thank you very much. Lubos

If you collect variations any theatre or foriegn made badges are more difficult to find and desirable. I personally see more german made CIBs the the medics badges.Yours is a great piece. Thanks for posting
