Reeder3 Posted November 19, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 19, 2014 picled up my first aerial blade marked M3 and very happy with it. Interestingly, it has 3 or 4 hardness tests which I haven't seen on the M3s before. Also a pic of my other m3s that I have left, blade dated Camillus and 2 unmarked M3s. byf41 Posted November 20, 2014 Share #6 Posted November 20, 2014 Scarce M3 in remarkable condition . I have a dated Utica with 3 Rockwell dings on it . I think it was done at certain Intervals .
Reeder3 Posted November 20, 2014 Author Share #7 Posted November 20, 2014 Thanks guys. The number of m6 scabbards I need keep adding up. I'm up to needing 4 now. Wishing I hadn't sold all of my M3s a couple of years ago now. They were mostly guard marked but I did have some really nice ones.
Bill in VA Posted November 20, 2014 Share #8 Posted November 20, 2014 Very nice knives, Reeder3. Quality trumps quantity every time, and it looks like you have some very good quality pieces. Could we see a few close-up of the Camillus and the Imperials? TIA
Patchcollector Posted November 21, 2014 Share #9 Posted November 21, 2014 A sweet addition to an already impressive collection.Congratulations! If i could only have one M3,I would choose an Aerial.I know there are "rarer" blades, but there's just something about that name that goes hand in hand with Airborne
