Deacon Posted November 15, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 15, 2014 Good afternoon, Does the amount of stitching lines along the edge of the brim of a mid-1920's era US Marine campaign hat verify USMC issue? I was considering the purchase of a hat presented as an authentic Marine Corp issue campaign hat made in the Twenties, which is being sold by a dealer specializing in vintage Marine gear. However, it has 5 rows of stitching around the edge of the brim, and from my understanding, any stitching around the brim should be limited to 2 rows. Any help/information would be much appreciated. Thank you for your time, in advance. Deacon
