Hi guys,

As some of the Forum members are already aware, I have a penchant for collecting US Army British-Made uniforms and equipment. In addition to this, for the past 3 1/2 years I have been researching the topic both here in the British Archives, and in the US National Archives. I am pleased to say that all of the research and collection has now been combined into a reference book dedicated to the subject.

The book is entitled WD: British-Made US Army Clothing and Equipment (ISBN: 978-0-9931150-0-4), and is available through Overlord Publishing > http://overlord-publishing.com/collections/books/products/wd-british-made-us-army-clothing-and-equipment. It will also be available through Amazon shortly.

The book is a hardback (casewrap) with 108 pages, and is in A4 format (210 x 297mm). Several Forum members have helped me with period photographs and items from their collections, so special thanks to Olivier Dufour, Jon Gawne, Bob Moolenbeek and Johan Willaert.

The book is now in hand and I am pleased with the results. I will attach a few photographs for reference.

Thanks again to everyone's help and support with this project! Please feel free to ask any questions :)

Regards,

Ben.

Thanks for the positive comments guys! The initial print run was only 200, as we weren't sure whether the subject matter was a little specific to move more than that. Time will tell, and a second print run might be required!

Regards,

Ben.
