firefighter Posted November 12, 2014 Share #30 Posted November 12, 2014 Looks like that one is for the 16th ASA Field Station. http://www.asalives.org/insignia.html http://www.herzo-base-gate.com/ http://www.usarmygermany.com/Sont.htm?http&&&www.usarmygermany.com/units/asa%20europe/USAREUR_ASAE%201.htm
jeff arthur Posted November 12, 2014 Share #31 Posted November 12, 2014 A nice collection ! Congrats ! The circled "P" hallmark is that of Carl Poeller Co. of Vollrath,Germany, the earliest ones they made were not hallmarked, but the distinctive "thumbtack" post-pins are attributable to that maker, most advanced DI collectors recognize them;overall they are in really good condition, nice score !
