Cyber Shot Posted November 11, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 11, 2014 I picked this up the other day. I believe it to be pre WWII because of the cursive "Sure Edge" stamp. The blade has only a couple of stains and no pitting. I don't think it has ever been sharpened except for the factory edge. You can find the same knife in Mike Silvey´s book Knives of the United States Military World War II on page 214 and on the next page Mike wrote "These two Robeson knives were available commercially and were popular with GI´s."
