MPage Posted November 1, 2014 Share #1 Posted November 1, 2014 I have a WWII Ike that's missing one WO rank, and before I replace it I'd like to know if I need to get a specific size, i.e., were certain ones made specifically for the shirt collar as opposed to service coats, etc? I wouldn't thinks so, but I thought I had seen this distinction mentioned before.
Justin B. Posted November 1, 2014 Share #2 Posted November 1, 2014 For the Army, collar insignia were the same size as for the shoulder loops, except generals who could wear smaller stars on the collar. The WO bar should be about 1 inch long. Justin B.
