Wedgehead30 Posted October 27, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 27, 2014 I picked this up at the flea market this morning. I can't find anything on it. From what I have found the United States Overseas Airlines was the forerunner to the AAF transport command (?) Would a half wing be an observer or crew member? Any info welcome and appreciated. Thanks, Scott
rustywings Posted October 27, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 27, 2014 I believe your badge is a 1950's to 1960's stewardess wing. Check out this website for additional information: www.stanwing.com USOA was in existence from 1946 to 1964. I don't believe there's any US military ties to your badge. bschwartz Posted October 28, 2014 Share #5 Posted October 28, 2014 It's just stanwing.com not stanwings.com with an "s".

GONavarini Posted July 30, 2019 Share #7 Posted July 30, 2019 Hello Scott, Its true, this is not a military badge, but of a civilian air carrier from the 1960s. If you are interested in selling this, I may have a buyer for you. Let me know, George Navarini Miami, Fla
