Wedgehead30 Posted October 22, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 22, 2014 Here's one that I've never seen or heard of. I can't find anything on the USO Minute Girls. If anyone has any info on this I would love to hear it. The pin was made by the Metal Arts Co., Rochester NY. It's approximately 1 inch by 1 inch. It has a gold tone finish and some damage on the right wing. Thanks, Scott

cutiger83 Posted October 23, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 23, 2014 I found something in my reference book "Dressed For Duty" about Minute Women. It shows a general USA Minute Women pin, a Minute Women Ohio pin and Minute Women of Los Angeles insignia. I wonder if this USO pin is the same as these other pins but just a different type of branch. The book says "The Minute Women of Los Angeles served without pay and were between the ages of 18 and 45. They were trained in advanced Red Cross and emergency work and drilled as a soldier for benefit of discipline and co-ordination. " ...Kat
