Troy, I just stumbled across this and I believe this is footage of the photograph you posted showing the 101 receiving awards after the invasion. Troy,

 

So very sorry to hear of this. The loss of my grandfather (a WWII vet, too) was one of the toughest moments I've ever experienced in my life. It's amazing how much of an influence one man can have on a younger person's life, so you are not alone in this. I'm sure he was just as proud of you as you are of him, so treasure all the memories you have. We're here for you, pal.
