Richard hegge 141 rgt company H, he lost his helmet in this foxhole because during 20-23 august 1944, they toke position on north-east montelimar, for block the german assault. the german was a lot of, and used mortar for destroy the US position. the friends of richard with the cal.30 1919a4 died, a mortar explose in their foxhole, richard was injured by a mortar in his foxhole and back to the first aid center.
