Rustykamel Posted June 30, 2008 Share #1 Posted June 30, 2008 Hi, The Camillus, NY made Ka-Bar has been pictured on this forum lots of times, but thought that some of you might enjoy seeing one more. This knife was issued to my father in 1945, and then brought home early 1946. In the late 40’s or early 50’s wood burning became the fad, and I can remember my father personalizing the Ka-Bar scabbard. Rather like a seabag, there are islands listed where he had been, plus Tsingtao, China, and his name and outfit. The dungaree shirt also belonged to him, and features a hand-drawn 6th Division patch on the back. Best wishes, Jim
