I took a chance on it and actually didn't pay that much. There weren't many pictures and the ones I had weren't very good. It looks good to me. What do the experts think? Don't know if I changed a setting or what but I couldn't get it to work. Sorry for the excessive posts. Yeah, I hate that the liner is messed up too. I was hoping to get it and it worked out. No names to go with it. The seller bought it at an auction in NY and he has no ideas about the history. It was what I thought it would be. The patina looks right to me. Thanks again. I would like to see better photos of the insignia, but there appears to be some bleed of rust. Pretty typical of a M1 with a higher rank, heavy paint suppressing whatever rust is there, and a nice overall patina on the gray/blue shell. If you can get better resolution photos of the insignia sometime, that would be great. As for the liner, eh, its only a Hawley, lol. Thanks for the photo help Jim.
