camillus Posted October 18, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 18, 2014 I am looking at this MKII looks like WWII, what do you think is it genuine, it looks to be in good shape. here the link thanks Mike http://www.ebay.com/itm/171493686122?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
bayonetman Posted October 18, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 18, 2014 Certainly could use a little cleanup, but appears to be a correct WW2 Mark 2. Although the seller apparently does not state it, I would think it is likely a guard marked Camillus. Certainly not a PAL or Robeson, could possibly be a Ka-Bar. doyler Posted October 19, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 19, 2014 The shape of the handle, pommel with single pin, blade grind are traits of a Camillius Mk2. Late guard marked
camillus Posted October 20, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted October 20, 2014 Hi, I bought the knife, it looks good SO I gambled. I think my decision was more informed because of your help and other post I have read here. If I goofed it is still a good knife. When I get I'll let you know.Mike
