US Victory Museum Posted October 15, 2014 Share #3 Posted October 15, 2014 Absolutely gorgeous, Norwichcadet! I know that the 1905 revolver lanyard fit poorly on the 1911 Pistol; however, in the time of that holster c. 1914 it would have been the type in use. Nevertheless, that is a superlative display of some rare accouterments. Msn

sgtpeter Posted October 15, 2014 Share #5 Posted October 15, 2014 Very nice NorwichCadet! Had I seen that black web belt on a sales table, I would have assumed it was not military or that somebody ruined it. Peter

US Victory Museum Posted October 16, 2014 Share #7 Posted October 16, 2014 This photo is USMF member Rayg's rig. This is the 1905 Revolver lanyard for enlisted men. The officers type was all leather. I paid a little over a C-Note for mine. I've seen them go much higher on Ebay.
