mmerc20 Posted October 13, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 13, 2014 Can anyone help ID these DUIs? I managed to pick up a very extensive WWII collection but these are proving to be quite difficult. They are all screwback and the one I am most curious about is the second from the left on top. The "servimus". I have found that motto, but nothing remotely close. DHolly Posted October 13, 2014 Share #2 Posted October 13, 2014 Off the top of my head I think the one you're most interested in is for the 53rd Quartermaster Regiment and/or the 4th Motor Repair Battalion. Dave

unclegrumpy Posted October 13, 2014 Share #4 Posted October 13, 2014 Top row, far right is the 160th Infantry Regiment. The triangle is the 80th Infantry Brigade, which was part of the 40th Division just before WW II. The 160th IR was a sub unit of the 80th.

suwanneetrader Posted October 14, 2014 Share #14 Posted October 14, 2014 I had a link showing hundreds of DI's in color and ID'ed, but lost it about 10 months or so ago when my computer crashed. I had backup for my documents but not where it was "My Favorites". I have not looked very hard for it as I have not ran across anymore that I thought were WWII, but if I remember correctly it was a study done by a Forum Member. If it was you can find it using the Search Feature, or maybe someone will see this topic and know for sure. Richard
unclegrumpy Posted October 14, 2014 Share #15 Posted October 14, 2014 It is blue That helps, but I think we are going to need to have someone with an ASMIC Charge List to find it.
