Can anyone help ID these DUIs? I managed to pick up a very extensive WWII collection but these are proving to be quite difficult. They are all screwback and the one I am most curious about is the second from the left on top. The "servimus". I have found that motto, but nothing remotely close.

Off the top of my head I think the one you're most interested in is for the 53rd Quartermaster Regiment and/or the 4th Motor Repair Battalion. :)

Top row, far right is the 160th Infantry Regiment.

The triangle is the 80th Infantry Brigade, which was part of the 40th Division just before WW II. The 160th IR was a sub unit of the 80th.

The bottom row has three Guard DIs, but I am not sure of the specific units for all of them:

Second from left, Wisconsin

Third from left, New York

Far right, 44th Signal Company, New Jersey

Third row: 4. 40th Military Police Co.

Forgot about factoring in the colors of each section of the triangle on this one....don't have a book for these, just a tired brain.

I had a link showing hundreds of DI's in color and ID'ed, but lost it about 10 months or so ago when my computer crashed. I had backup for my documents but not where it was "My Favorites". I have not looked very hard for it as I have not ran across anymore that I thought were WWII, but if I remember correctly it was a study done by a Forum Member. If it was you can find it using the Search Feature, or maybe someone will see this topic and know for sure. Richard
