tball101 Posted October 7, 2014 Share #1 Posted October 7, 2014 Telegram to parents stating their son was taken as a prisoner of war and was in a camp in Germany. Dated April 26, 1944. After further research, I found out that he was part of a tank destroyer unit, and was taken POW at Kasserine Pass in Tunisia. He is listed on the roster of prisoners at Stalag IIIB in Furstenberg, Germany . I also have been able to contact his Granddaughter who will hopefully be making me copies of paperwork and photos that her family has! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
