skypilot6670 Posted October 5, 2014 Share #3 Posted October 5, 2014 I've always felt this patern wing is a depression era wing. They seem to run the gamut with their findings, from the basic bent over tab to the barrel type safety lock and early style clutch back. The clutch back you have my guess is Mid-war.Materials seem to favor silver plated brass (less expensive) to sterling. As war materials became important I think brass was replaced by sterling.I believe this style stayed in production for a long time 15 or more years and influenced other manufactuer designs such as Balfour.Costa you have several snowflake. How about posting some photos of all your snowflakes so we can compare. Its a real nice wing and thanks for posting it.
