Mr.B Posted January 28, 2007 Share #1 Posted January 28, 2007 Hi Everyone I went to a local estate sale and picked up this ww2 US Ike jacket of a ordance officer in the 15th airforce 461st bomb group. This is a really really interesting grouping it has practically everything you would need to know about this guy and more. It has his paper work practically everything including when he won the bronze star for not letting any accidents happen. I mean I know when the guy enlisted too and just you can follow his career in the military during ww2. I kind of found it interesting also that where I work we did a book for a ww2 vet at where I work he knew this guy he was in the same bomber group and knew him personally so I guess its a small world. Let me know what you guys think thanks scott
