Rakkasan187 Posted September 28, 2014 Share #13 Posted September 28, 2014 Bob, This is a great grouping to a great Rakkasan. "Ham" as he was known to many 187th folks was very active in the 187th Association in the 80's. I had the opportunity to meet him at the 1985 reunion in Hartford, Connecticut. The guest speaker at the dinner was none other than General William Westmoreland, a one time commander of the 187th.. Ham's bio pictured above came out of "Steel Berets" The history of the 187th Airborne Regimental Combat Team.. Incredible grouping.. Leigh

I've recently had the pleasure to become acquainted with a Rakkasan who lives here in Michigan. He has some amazing stories. I think he was in HQ also, i will have to ask him if he knew your man.
