KurtA Posted September 14, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 14, 2014 SSGT R.W. Withington was apparently quite the uniform collector. I obtained this pile of uniforms from my picker awhile back. In the grouping is a standard EM 4 pocket, an officer 4 pocket converted to EM, and an officer 4 pocket converted to an EM Ike jacket. Only the EM 4 pocket has his name in it, but the other two have the exact same rank and sew-on ribbons as his named jacket, so no doubt they were later pickups. KurtA Posted September 14, 2014 Author Share #2 Posted September 14, 2014 Insignia The 4 pocket EM and Ike cut-down have the cotton 8th AF patch. The converted officer 4 pocket has the bullion. All three have identical sew-on ribbon groupings. 2 have wings.

AAF_Collection Posted September 14, 2014 Share #6 Posted September 14, 2014 That patched A4 is the absolute icing. I have a uniform grouping to one of his squadron mates, and another member has the guys ike jacket. Matt.
