This concerns the first two digits of all U.S. Army service numbers (for enlisted men) of the W.W.II era. The first two digits tell you something about each man: The first digit: 1 = volunteer 2 = National Guard 3 = draftee 4 = draftee (?) 6 = Regular Army 7 = ? I got a message from him this week and he says he is down to the last 6 copies. If you collect dog tags, you need this book. You can email Paul at [email protected] - it is 167 pages of insight.
