jbassmaster18 Posted September 7, 2014 Share #1 Posted September 7, 2014 Found this recently. The Machete is nice, but its just a ww2 machete. Nothing special. What caught my eye is the leather scabbard. It is Marked US Bauer Brothers 1944. It does not appear to be cut down from anything. Does anyone have any info on it?? This is the only one I have seen, and the only one I can find.

tsellati Posted September 9, 2014 Share #5 Posted September 9, 2014 Nice addition to your collection. I have a pretty decent collection of machetes myself, but have yet to add one with a leather scabbard to the bunch. Tim
warcollect1942 Posted September 12, 2014 Share #6 Posted September 12, 2014 These are 22 inch Milwaukee saddlery 1942. I also have 26 inch Milwaukee saddlery. It is on a pistol belt. All knives are Collins 1942. $75.00 was a very good deal.
