He said, he thought of me when he saw them, knowing I'm a collector. He paid $4.00. It's just a suggestion but consider having your friend go back to the house where he purchased them to get the name of the pilot who original owned them. The odds are 10 to 1 that the Glider Pilot would have been a close relative of the seller. Frankly, it's hard to beat owning a biographical Glider Pilot wing, and the seller might also have some WWII paper work and photos to go along with the wings. cp Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
