Pointedcuffs Posted August 29, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 29, 2014 Hello, can someone identify and give me a timeline when this was worn please? Value?
QED4 Posted August 29, 2014 Share #2 Posted August 29, 2014 It appears to be the standard fatigue shirt from the late 1960's through the early 1970's with the sleeves shortened. If it still has the label it should have the date. It appear to be the non permanent press type which was replaced with permanent press in the early 1970's. Some research on the unit could help date it and tell you were it was worn. As with most uniforms the real value is in the patch, the shirt itself has little value. Salvage Sailor Posted August 29, 2014 Share #3 Posted August 29, 2014 I've seen the patch before, I believe it's a detachment patch from Harbor Clearance Unit one when they were based at Subic Bay, P.I., before they moved back to Pearl Harbor. Late/post-Vietnam war.
