WWII_GI Posted August 25, 2014 Share #6 Posted August 25, 2014 Here's two of my painted helmets, Both WWII era. Fist one has Bette and Bob on the front, and the second had Bev on the shell and 'Wedge" on the liner.
WWII_GI Posted August 25, 2014 Share #7 Posted August 25, 2014 I also have two painted medic liners. The bottom 4 panel is stenciled and sprayed on and is a 50's liner. The bottom is a two panel, hand painted and has SG on the front. I'm not sure what SG stands for. This one could be WWII but I'm not sure, Liner is a Rayon westinghouse. john k Posted August 25, 2014 Share #12 Posted August 25, 2014 Painted how? Tac marked? Camo? Also theres a camo thread already started not sure why its not pinned to the top anymore. To me the intent of this thread is clear. "please post M1 Helment "porn" here". ("porn" meaning amazing collectible pots with any sort of painted markings.) I wish I could contribute, but I have nothing more interesting than a few "Plain Janes" to share

Screamingeagles101 Posted August 25, 2014 Share #23 Posted August 25, 2014 Belonged to Harry Parker who served in the pacific theater. He was stationed on the USS San Jan from 1941-1943 and USS BunkerHill from 1944- 1945. I figured I'd throw in a Navy helmet since I see so many airborne haha
