Siamundo Posted August 24, 2014 Share #1 Posted August 24, 2014 I was fortunate enough to be able to give this jacket a new home yesterday, although it took four trips over the course of a week to a local antique mall while waiting for the dealer to decide what they wanted to charge for it. It is a straight out of the woodwork 1967 dated L2B flight jacket from a pilot (I assume) with the 34th Tactical Fighter Squadron while they were flying the F-105 Thunderchief out of Korat, Thailand. Unfortunately there was no name or details about the original owner. It does not appear, or at least that I can tell, that the jacket ever had a name tag on the left chest or any rank insignia on the shoulders. It looks like there may have been a name written inside on the orange lining at one time but it is so faint I can only make out a couple of letters and nothing else.
