Here is a photo of Company O during its period of activation in Alaska. You can see a few of the soldiers on the front row holding berets with the flash in question.

 

The third photo shows the tab and shoulder sleeve insignia combination worn by the soldier shown in Post # 11.

 

There is some evidence as suggested earlier in this topic that Company O members wore the blue bordered oval with white stars, but at least at one point they appear to have worn the generic oval for the 75th Infantry shown here. The 75th Infantry oval shown here is the same as the soldier in Post # 11 is wearing.

The first three are from 1971 while the fourth is from 1972. Note that only a handful of the soldiers in the first three are wearing any flash or DUI on their berets.
