DCU of Lt Col Jerry E Brooks, MNC-I (Mutlinational corps Iraq).

He first deployed to Iraq in July 2005 and served as the command historian for Multi-National Corps - Iraq (MNC-I) until June 2006.

He returned to Iraq from May 2008 to May 2009, first as MNC-I command historian and then as the command historian for Multi-National Force - Iraq, the predecessor of the current Iraq-wide command, USF-I, for the last three months of the deployment.

DCU of Captain Jeff Wooten, He's the commander of the 164th Military Police Company. On 23 March 2005, the 164th MP Company out of Ft. Richardson Alaska deployed to Bagram Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom 6.

Dahlman was probably a support guy in an SF battalion or group. I was in the MI Detachment in 3 different SF Battalions (3/1, 3/3 and 5/19). Support troops by definition are not tabbed but they are usually airborne qualified.

To add to the above, only about 60% of the TO&E strength of an SF Group are tabbed, at least that was the case when I was in.. You have large service and support detachments at both battalion and group level.

A couple of interesting SEEBEE tops. One is dated 1990 and has whitish colored name tapes with dark thread. The other is dated 1990 and has no name tapes but has a stencil instead

I decided to grab some of the ones on the rack in my shop and post pics before they get sold- from now on I will add any new ones that come in.

First is a 6 color, 84 contract. It has a curious non-standard US Army tape. With the patch for the 13th COSCOM I suspect this one was worn in Somalia as part of Operation Restore Hope
