M2 and Original Shipping box

I had the WWII International Flare pistol but not the box. I found the pistol in Tipp City, Ohio and Championhilz found the box in Mississipi (I think). We decided on a trade that made us both happy and I was able to put the pistol back into its' original wood shipping box. Thanks!

They look great together! I'm glad we could put those two items together. And yes, it was found in a little junk shop in Clinton, Mississippi. I have to wonder how it ended up there. Clinton did have a big POW camp during World War II, and they may have used flare guns, so possibly it has been in a local barn or attic until it found its way to the shop recently.
