subsystem4 Posted July 10, 2014 Share #1 Posted July 10, 2014 I won this group on ebay and I can't wait for it to arrive. It has some interesting history. This sailor spent most of WWII on the hospital ship USS Relief and then transfered to the APA USS Rockwall when that ship was sent into action in early 1945. He continued to serve aboard the Rockwall though out 1946. The Rockwall was a support vessel for the first Bikini Atoll bomb test in mid 1946. During the Korean war and until about 1958 he served with the 2nd marine div.
