JonG Posted June 10, 2008 Share #1 Posted June 10, 2008 What a score! Picked these up today at a local second hand store, along with a small pile of other military items. Was called on Saturday, but didn't go by until today. The leather scabbard for the model 1917 still has a green tint to the leather, which is still soft and not dried out. I think the chrome plated bayonet is a 1905E1 (cutdown in ’42). Anyone have any thoughts on these? Bayonets aren’t (or weren’t) my thing.

JonG Posted June 10, 2008 Author Share #8 Posted June 10, 2008 Thanks guys! They weren't cheap, but looking at the prices on eBay, I think I did OK on the box of items. Once I get thru the rest of the stuff, I'll be listing a some of it in the for sale/trade section before letting my daughter post it on the 'Bay.
