WWII Ludlow London PARATROOPER Wings + Para Oval

Recommended Posts

I picked this wing up today in a box of junk at an antique store for the proverbial " song and a dance " . The wings were pinned to the oval and the oval has been sewn on before. It is sewn on wool felt .

I am not an Airborne expert by any sense of the word , and do not know which unit this para oval represents. Any ideas ?

I think I just figured it out. I think it is the 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment , 82nd Airborne .
