Indian War Kepi Bugle?

I believe it is the post-1872 field musician's forage/kepi device for F Company, 7th Infantry or Cavalry Regiment.

When the infantry device changed from this type of bugle to to crossed rifles, the bugle became the device for field musicians, buglers and trumpeters. I believe this remaind the musician's device until 1902, when the bugle shaped changed (it resembled the device used by the Regiment of Mounted Rifles).
