That rang a bell with me because I was sure I'd seen such a pair at my local militaria place, so I went back today to take a look. Close...but no cigar! What I found was a pair of '43 dated dark OD leggins with contrasting light OD edging tape. They were in unissued condition with just a some light storage corrosion which I'm pretty sure I can remove with the application of little wire-wool. I have some other webbing items from the same period in this darker grey-green shade of OD, but it's the first pair of leggins...all my others are the more typical light OD shade. (You'll note that these...like almost every other unissued leggins you'll find are size 3-R!) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
