WWII USN Australian made Pharmacist mate jumper

This is the first Aussie made Jumper I have had the chance to buy. Its tailor-made by a shop in Sydney. The sailor spent the war on the ammunition ship the USS Pyro which spent time in Australian ports.

What do the cuff buttons look like? Some of the Aussie made jumpers used the UK/Australian battledress style buttons.

I didn't look to closely at them. I think they are just plain dark blue without any marks. I will take a look at them more closely tonight when i get home.

Yes indeed. This one has the name in big red embroidery on the inside as well as the initials and last name on the tailors tag.
