I also posted under another topic on this forum , but seeing as I think a patch in question "may be" CAP related I wanted to post my question here too, now under the topic "Can You ID" forum-"Aviation Ordanance Patch CBI" by vintageproductions' there's a patch posted and also another by a member of a "winged bullet" , I have seen on facebook on the forum "Civil Air Patrol History" a posting by Frank Blazitch'" a booklet that has at center top this same emblem in a line drawing form ....................

There in lies my question as to this being CAP related , but again , I have also seen a photo of 2 ,A-36 Apache Fighter Bomber aircraft with this emblem on the lower engine cowling , and wonder how they would have been CAP related , another poster has the patch as a "possible" for the 709th Bombardment Squadron , curiouser and curiouser .............................

I'm hoping that some of you CAP guru's can solve this "mystery" for me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's hear form you guys, Thanks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Johnny

Would your badge happen to look like this:

If so, you're looking at an early WW2 RAF Air Gunner's sleeve badge.

Cool patch, but it definitely is NOT Civil Air Patrol.
