beezman Posted March 20, 2014 Share #1 Posted March 20, 2014 Hi all, I found this patch years ago in a drone-related grouping, but this seems to be another kind of unit. A SAC bomb squadron maybe? It can be seen on this boonie hat worn by a Vietnamese civilian unloading USAF C-130s at Tan Son Nhut: (Courtesy of http://www.rdyoungphotos.com/ ) Thanks for your help! firefighter Posted March 20, 2014 Share #2 Posted March 20, 2014 I would also agree a bomb sq.Patch look THAI made to me.It look like a bomb in his arm, at first I was thinking a wrench. The 307th Bomb Wing was in Thailand but a lot of sate side squadrons rotated thru. vintageproductions Posted March 20, 2014 Share #3 Posted March 20, 2014 You should check LJ's website. I want to say I saw it identified on there. Not sure if it is still there though.

beezman Posted March 21, 2014 Author Share #5 Posted March 21, 2014 Thank you all for your replies. Terry, you are absolutely right, I had never seen the other Buffalo Hunter patch with the bow and arrows replacing the bomb! Now it makes sense!
