Hi Sabrejet,

I think you may have gotten your wires crossed on your "Der Rote baron" post above. I'm pretty sure you meant to say:

Til Schweiger as Werner Voss in "Der Rote Baron"

Aleksandr Zbruev as Stalin and Bob Hoskins as Beria in the 1991 movie with Tom Hulce, The Inner Circle or as it is also known, The Projectionist.

When I saw what you posted Sabrejet, I thought how could he get that so wrong?

Normally I don't like to tell people they're wrong about something unless I'm positive I'm right. So I waited, and waited, and waited for someone else to call you out. But it was so wrong, I had to say something. I never thought I'd get punked on the forum ...

Oh dear...I consider myself to be suitably chastened! How can I make amends....?! Well, sticking to the "ancients" theme, here's Donal Logue, as Horik, King of Denmark, from "Vikings". ( I recently visited the national museum of Denmark in Copenhagen. Some pretty cool Viking artefacts to be seen there!)

If its ancients you want, its ancients you shall have ...

Jerzy Skolomowski as King Jan Sobieski III in "Battle for Vienna"

I stumbled on this this afternoon. It's a film about the Poles stopping the Ottoman Turks at Vienna in 1683. I was impressed by the trailer. You can see it here:

Axel Von Whoslewhat? ... Looks like Rutger Hauer to me. Not sure who who the guy next to him is.

The URL number didn't completely upload for the "Battle of Vienna" trailer. Try this one:
