Photo and Map Help

Greetings all:

 

I am wrapping up work on my dissertation and I am currently looking for photographs and maps to include in the body of the manuscript.

 

My subject involves an investigation of Anglo-Canadian and American engineering operations from June 1944 to April 1945 in Northwest Europe.

 

I am looking for images of Anglo-Canadian and American engineering training and operations including mine detecting, bridge building, etc. I need high quality reproductions of these images.

 

Also, I am looking for quality maps of the major Allied ground operations in Northwest Europe.

 

I am looking for either public domain sources or sources for which permission could be gained for academic use.

 

Any and all suggestions are most welcome.
