Renegade Posted February 22, 2014 Share #1 Posted February 22, 2014 Gentlemen, I picked up this foot locker Hiding in a corner at a antique shop. It looks to be a ww2 era or korea era footlocker belonging to a Lt. John L. Fallon ( later promoted to captain) serial number o-375336 from Fort Collins, Colorado. My questions are concerning the markings/emblems painted on. They seem to original ,having the same patina as the writing. The triangle in yellow makes me think of Armored division patch and the yellow arrow or tick mark in the lower corner reminds me of the tick marks you would see on some painted helmets refering to a certain battalion in a division, But I am guessing - this is the first time I have seen this? also the white and red rectangle markings on the right signify what? Renegade Posted February 23, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted February 23, 2014 The idea of being a anti-tank emblem has some possible merit, Thanks Strawberry 9 !
