Hey Guys

The show is this coming weekend, c'mon out and say Hi

As usual, this show is located at the Richmond Raceway Complex. Don't sweat the weather, all this white crap should be gone by Saturday, it might be a bit rainy but temps will be in the mid 50's, perfect weather for some militaria shopping !

Mid Show UPDATE

Well, not the best in terms of sales but I expected that. Still though, a pretty good day. A lot of cool stuff walked in and right up to my table.

A quick round up of the what I picked up...

Sterile Rucksack, the "waterproof", light green type

2 nice ERDL boonies, good sizes too, NOT 6 3/4 for once...

Viet made SVN Flag patch.

Korean made 117th AVN Co pocket patch mid 70's vintage

Nice framed grouping of patches etc from the Estate of the Late Col. Ian Sutherland

Plus a BIG pile of various DUI and common WW2 US SSI

I also watched a pretty awful SF Beret get sold for 400.00 !! The sad part is that I honestly believe that both parties thought it was a real one. The buyer obviously thought it was good. I looked at it earlier and was quickly convinced that it was a fake. I hate to see that but Ive given up trying to make " on the spot corrections". That never seems to end well.

Vance, did you make out to the show ?

Anyway, back at it tomorrow....

Sunday is always hit or miss. And it was a bit of a miss militaria wise.

On the plus side, I met a former advisor to an ARVN Cav regt who invited me to an Advisors reunion.

Also met a former Phoenix Program vet. Talked to that guy for quite awhile. He was the real deal for sure. He was fascinating and we will be in touch....

Plus lots of other great vets. Probably one of my favorite things to do at Shows is to meet and talk to those guys.
