Buzzard Brigade Torpedo Squadron Ten

Found this at local second hand store: it's one of those stickers with the peel-away paper backing. I assume it was something put out by a Buzzard Brigade veteran's group.

 

Torpedo Squadron Ten was in the Battle of Guadalcanal, 12-15 November 1942 and other Pacific campaigns.

it is thier WW2 design,there was a book put out somewhat recently about the unit and this emblem/sticker design was either on cover or inside,it may have been a freebie w/purchase of book.

Just found this Squadron Patch for the unit. I know the design is WW2, but I'm not 100% on when the patch was made. Came out of an estate in California. Paint is on a fairly thin leather. Best ABN

Hello,

I have the "Book" the squadron wrote on the way home. It's about 100 pages and tells their story on almost a daily basis.

My father was Squadron Commander.

It does no good sitting in a box and I'd like to sell it and split the proceeds with my two children -- a gift from Grandfather Scoofer (his call sign).

It belongs in a good home.
