USS Chevalier DD 805 USS Chevalier DD 805.jpg USS Edison DD 946 still on card USS Edison DD 946.jpg USS Furse DD 882 (Japanese manufacture) USS Furse DD 882.jpg Hello Sir, My name is Dave and I am a former infantryman and Iraq War Veteran in need. Recently one of our WWII brothers, a very close family friend of mine, passed on from this life. I have been given the honor and privilege by his family to research his military history as he was tight lipped about it, even to them. My mission complete, I am building a shadow box to honor his commitment and sacrifice that will be presented to his daughter in a private moment after the funeral. My question to you sir, my request if you are willing and able, is will you sell me the USS Chevalier DD 805 Patch and if you have it, a USS Huse DE 145 Patch. These items will be featured in the box along side his medals. Thank you for your consideration. Have a great day.

Several of my shipmates were on the Salvage OP which eventually freed her from the reef. She was designated DDR from 1949 to 1969 - Japanese made patch. Salvage Sailor Posted August 14, 2016 Share #20 Posted August 14, 2016 USS ROGERS (DDR-876) Gearing class in service 1945 to 1981. Being a radarman, I've always liked this patch She was designated a Radar Picket DDR from 1949 to 1963 This is one of her Vietnam patches when she was reverted back to DD-876 in 1963, later serving on the gunline, callsign 'Bullseye' Her nickname was "The Tonkin Tiger" Anyone have the Tonkin Tiger patch to post here? She later had a 20 year career in the ROKN and is now a museum ship in South Korea
