LuftStalg1 Posted November 30, 2013 Share #1 Posted November 30, 2013 Picked this up earlier this year. It is a nice French made pin for the 248th Aero Squadron. One of the plan Enlisted man type. A typical pin back rather then the screw post type. The flash kind of washed out the photo of the front. It is mostly black but the high spots have been rubed off. You don't see to many real Aero Squadron badges under $1k anymore!
USAFnav Posted December 2, 2013 Share #2 Posted December 2, 2013 Very nice. Were these made and worn during the war, or immediately after? I'd love to find something like that, but $1k is WAY out of my range! Pete

The officers enameled silver are the ones that typically go over a thousand dollars this type enlisted usually around half that. These enlisted man versions are no where near as nice but still neat to find.
