MastersMate Posted June 30, 2017 Share #6 Posted June 30, 2017 Picked up a soiled, but nice white CPO type rating badge with the applied blue chevrons and arch. The eagle is of the 1905sh to 1940sh leaning style, looking to its own left, and appears to be a 1921 on to 1940sh Chief Radioman. All told, a nice grab for $5.00. There is no manufacture date information on the cloth. At first glance pretty well cut and dried identifiation... Depending on manufacture date it could also be.... The 1921 Coast Guard CPO rating badge for the new RM rating, could also be the rating badge of the Coast Guard 1915 to 1921 First Class Electrician.. or The rating badge of the 1908 to 1915 Revenue Cutter Service First Class Electrician..
