Chris_B Posted April 28, 2008 Share #1 Posted April 28, 2008 Some of you may know this website, but it's a favorite of mine. These guys are dedicated. I do some historical paint schemes for WWII aircraft for flight simming; this stuff goes far beyond my most strenuous efforts: 1/6 scale WWII dioramas at Kampfgruppe von Abt

Chris_B Posted April 29, 2008 Author Share #4 Posted April 29, 2008 Wow! Those are amazing! (Too bad they only do German ones from what I can tell. ) There's a Red Army diorama and one that features I beleive US paratroops; the one with the destroyed halftrack, I think. But yes, a lot of german stuff. I assume that it's easier to find a nd collect the german stuff? You'd think they'd do a brit paratroop diorama at pegasus bridge or something
Brian Dentino Posted May 1, 2008 Share #5 Posted May 1, 2008 These are absolutely amazing! I cannot believe that these are models and not color photograhs. I just wonder how much time it takes to do a whole series of one of these to get all the shading, background, and other details just right? Thanks for the site, it is now on my long list of WWII bookmarked. Great stuff.

Leatherneck72 Posted June 16, 2008 Share #8 Posted June 16, 2008 I used to do some pretty serious armor and figure modeling back in the 80's, and I thought I was pretty hot stuff with my Paasche airbrush, and weathering pastels, but this is taking it to a whole new level. This appears to be on the order of modeling done for movies, and special effects. These guys are definitely that good....
