IMPERIAL QUEST Posted April 23, 2008 Share #11 Posted April 23, 2008 My compliments to you Sir. These are outstanding, and bring back fond memories; one thing that is foreign to me on your models...the presence of the rear drive fender skirt sections. We ripped them off and tossed 'em from every tank my crew was on.
Retired Posted April 23, 2008 Author Share #12 Posted April 23, 2008 My compliments to you Sir. These are outstanding, and bring back fond memories; one thing that is foreign to me on your models...the presence of the rear drive fender skirt sections. We ripped them off and tossed 'em from every tank my crew was on. Thanks for the kind words, Steven. Regarding the rear drive fender skirts, I studied the photos of Abrams in Iraq posted on toadmanstankpictures.com and about half of the tanks had the rear skirt sections in place and the other half didn't. I figured I was correct either way. Retired.
